I’m a 20-year-old student and am attending a university in Alaska.
I am a student, writer and entrepreneur.
My interests are movies, magazines, fishing, traveling and having a nice cup of coffee with a stranger and getting to know them. I think it is one of the greatest opportunities to get to know people who are different than one’s self. I love to help people. I love to encourage the weak and confirm the strong in what they believe.
This weblog is about personal esteem. I think personal esteem is so important to have; it is a characteristic that makes people successful. I want this blog to be read by people of all ages. I believe that my thoughts may be of help to everyone that reads my blog.
I have observed that young people who get into trouble are normally individuals who have low or no esteem due to parental criticism, lack of peer support or physical insecurities.
Hopefully, I will be able to share some interesting and educational information and articles I find with you. I will of course reflect on some different articles and I look forward to your comments about my reflections.
I am confident that I can be a positive role model for pre-teen and teenage girls across America and around the world.

Allie, I am so proud of you and I really enjoyed reading this whole blog, good job. I know that you are going to be a successful journalist! I hope that you will research how to improve your self-esteem and write a blog on that.
